Pancreatic cancer

Symptoms

Symptoms of pancreatic cancer:

  • belly or back pain;
  • unintended weight loss, poor appetite;
  • diarrhea, jaundice (yellowing of the sclerae and skin), and changes in bowel habits.

Often, there might be no symptoms in the early stages of pancreatic cancer. As the tumor grows, symptoms may appear. Any symptoms may be vague and may come and go from the beginning.

If you have jaundice, contact your physician immediately.

If you have any other symptoms you don’t know why and they last four weeks or more, see your physician [2].
